CHAPLAIN INFORMATION

To Prison Chaplains, Counselors and Wardens:

I give to you greeting in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  All glory and praise to Him who died for us on the cross and shed His precious blood for the eternal cleansing of all our sins.

The mission of the Prisoners Bible Crusade is to provide Bibles and Christian helps to prisoners in the United States of America.   The way we do this is through the prison Chaplains, Counselors or Wardens.  We give the Bibles and helps free of any charge to the Chaplains, Counselors or Wardens for prison  and jail inmates.

WE OPERATE ONLY BY REQUEST THROUGH THE U. S. POST OFFICE FOR BIBLES

At the present time we are giving a KJV whole paper back Bible, a KJV paper back New Testament, and the gospel of John and Romans together in a booklet form. Although the word is out that we give Bible study courses, WE DO NOT GIVE BIBLE STUDY COURSES!  We only give Bibles and Christian study helps.  We do not give Bibles to individual Inmates, we only work through you the Chaplains, Counselors or Wardens.  We are sorry but due to the cost of LARGE PRINT BIBLES  we cannot give them.  Because we are a small ministry we may not be able to supply all of the Bibles that you request.  But, as our Lord supplies we can supply some to you.

Please see our Chaplain Resources Page  for additional resources.

Here are two resources that we are excited about.

    1.   Our long time friend, Pastor Travis Moore from Riverside, CA has written a self style work book for new Converts to the Christian Faith.  Brother Moore was born and grew up in our community.  His father, Brother John E. Moore pastured our home Church the Lee's Chapel #2 Baptist Church for 24 years.  Brother Travis was saved, surrendered to preach and was sent out to the gospel ministry from our home Church which also is the PBC's sponsoring Church.  Brother Travis was the first  missionary to be sent to the Philippines from the Baptist Missionary Association of America where he led in establishing Churches for our Lord.  He is a very capable teacher under the Hand of the Lord.
The book is entitled, "Spiritual BootCamp".  It is in a  'work book' style, that means there will be  fill in the blanks as the student studies verses from the Bible.  This is a self help type of Bible study that the new convert may keep when they are finished with it. The format is on 8.5 by 11 sheets @ 58 pages suitable for copying.  There is no copyright on the book.  We only ask that you use it for the Lord's glory keeping the credits to Brother Moore and the Prisoners Bible Crusade in place, and to not have it printed for sale or profit.   I have found that some of the big office supply stores, such as Office Depot, Office Max and so on will copy large volumes for a reasonable price.   The book is 58 pages long. Some Chaplains are only copying just the first few pages and giving to the Inmates to get them started, then giving pages as needed.
Please inform the Inmates that we DO NOT GIVE BIBLE STUDY COURSES.  Also, please do not send the completed work books back to us.  The intent is for the new convert to keep the book, or they may go over it with their Chaplain or Counselor.  Check it out on the Chaplain Resources Page.

   2.  Rev. David E. Steele, Pastor, Teacher and Author has written a special "Sunday School" type book for new Converts the Christian faith entitled,   "REJOICE! YOU ARE GOD'S CHILD!".  The book is designed as a text book to be used by a teacher of the Word of God!  It is not a Bible Study Course.   The lessons were designed to cover a regular quarter in place of the regular Sunday School Literature.  The subjects of the 13 lessons were chosen to instruct new believers in some fundamental Bible doctrines of the Christian faith.  The format is 8.5x11 @ 44 pages.  Check it out on the Chaplain Resources Page.

Chaplains, Counselors, Wardens,  you may request Bibles from the Prisoners Bible Crusade on your prison's  stationery displaying that Institution's official letter head.  We will only honor requests  made this way through the mail using the  U. S. post office.  Our mailing address:
